Houses prices higher than London
The average price of a property in Guernsey is higher than properties in London, according to the States quarterly housing figures.
Over the last three months local house costs increased by 1.9%.
An average house on the local market now costs £351,500, compared with an average of £325,000 in London.
The Guernsey price is 15.6% higher than in the same quarter last year, however the cost of apartments has dropped by 5.1% say the figures.
Local market properties are only available to people who have a Guernsey housing licence.
The average open market property costs about £950,000.
The States figures also show that house sales in Guernsey have fallen, with 89 fewer local market properties sold in the last quarter compared with the same period last year.
